Could a Warlock Patron control a Warlock’s Body?

Question

In D&D 5e, could a warlock patron take control of a warlock’s body, even if the warlock didn’t want them to? 

The idea I have is an aasimar that doesn’t know they’re an aasimar until, and I know this is angsty, but until they’re about to commit suicide by jumping off a roof, but a warlock patron like possesses/takes control of their body as they’re falling and makes their wings appear, saving their life. 

Is that something that’s possible?
