I live in a rural area, grow lots of food in gardens and a greenhouse, and I keep chickens and bees.  I am already on a very small farm.  I love it.

You'd be working much harder than any of the work you do in any indoor job..

And you probably wouldn't live as long either

I don't think I would like living on a farm with all those animals around me. I'm not much into large animals or those that like to roll around in mud. Then, there that matter of working on a farm--they work to hard in the fields, taking care of the animals, and get up way too early. Milking cows isn't my thing either, and horses kind of scare me because they are very large animals, as are cows. On many farms, they kill the animals they eat.
