My friend said if I wasn't a rebound the guy wouldn't of seen me as much?

My friend said something that's upset me a bit

I was with a guy who just came out a long relationship and he was nice to begin with but then turned horrible

We stopped talking

My friend said she thinks he would not have seen me as much if I wasn't a rebound 

Do you think it's true?

There is a direct correlation between the intensity of a relationship and how long it lasts. Usually when someone seems overly eager early on it means their passions shift with the wind and the relationship won't last.

You don't get over a long term relationship at the drop of a hat.

You seem to be taking that fact personally.
