What does "gets" mean?
He says he will use a trap if a raccoon gets any of his cats.
The sentence is about someone whose cats are often in his yard and who is slightly concerned that raccoons might move in to his area. Which does "gets" in the sentence mean, "kills", "injures" or "attacks"? Thanks!

Attacks, injures and/or kills covers most possibilities of the word “gets” in that sentence. I think the assumption is kills though.

It means all of those. Basically, if a raccoon harms his cats in any way, from injury to death, he is going to use a trap to get rid of the raccoon.

If a raccoon "gets ahold of" and then injures or kills the cat.

In this context it could mean any or all three.
