Length of AC: Lac = √(3²+3²) m = √18 m
Length of AB: Lab = √(3²+4²) m = 5 m
For horizontal equilibrium at A,
Tac*3/√18 = Tab*4/5 →→ Tac = 1.1314*Tab
where Tac is the tension in spring AC
For vertical equilibrium at A,
Tac*3/√18 + Tab*3/5 = Tad
and of course Tad = 2kg * 9.8m/s² = 19.6 N
Substituting for Tac gives
1.1314*Tab*3/√18 + Tab*0.6 = 19.6 N →→ Tab = 14 N
and so Tac = 1.1314*14N = 16 N
AC: 16N / 20N/m = 0.8 m
AB: 14N / 30N/m = 0.5 m
AD: 19.6N / 40N/m = 0.5 m
