It depends on your interests and how much surplus money u have. If you have lots of money and like to stay socially isolated,  dont like designer clothes, great food, travel or the opposite sex, yes its easy to save. 

If u are barely scraping by and like good food and fun, you will have a hard time saving it because u spend more than you make and are always playing catch up.

Unbelievably true. We're forced to spend money to stay alive and well. Saving money is only easy if you have a hefty income that allows you to live well within your means and still get things you want.
