How to turn down a woman I am falling for in a gentle way?

I have been friends with her for a few years and there was always that attraction between us. She is 37 years old and five years older than me. Recently, she has opened up about wanting something else from me and as much as I want it, I know it's not right. She has a child from a previous marriage and wants a future. On the other hand, I just live my personal life like I'm still 25. I am falling for her, but I know that I'm not the right person for her. I am far too care free and she brings in too much baggage. I have hinted repeatedly at the fact that she has responsibilities, while I don't, but she keeps ignoring it. I really don't want to hurt her and I don't want to get involved because I know it would ultimately hurt her. How do I tell her that we are not right for each other?
