Atheists reject a human being's spiritual aspect. Does that mean human beings are purely physical objects?

I prefer the phrase "living thing" to "animate object", but sure, you could say that.

Hmmmm....human beings are like all other animals, physical.  I don't think I would refer to them as objects, but physical?  Yes.

Well I guess that would depend on if you define spiritual as supernatural or not. I personally don't see it that way. I see it more emotional a sense of hope/wonder/being part of a greater thing.

All that exists is the natural world.

If humans were purely physical, why would that be a problem?  Would it make you feel less special?

So, you've spoken with quite a few atheists, then?

How many atheists do you know?

Atheists don't believe any gods exist.  No where in that very VERY simple definition does it say anything about a "spiritual aspect".
