Standard business practice taking your bonus as shares. Has tax advantages over being paid cash.

Because they are now very high.   Buy low - sell high.   That is how I made my first fortune.

    Yes! Exactly!

Not Reassuring given the fact that neither the manufacturers NOT the distributors can be sure should their product gives you the chrona instead! As government has already granted them LEGAL INDEMNITY.https://www.globalresearch.ca/what-not-said-pfizer...

Pfizer confirmed the transaction had been filed but said it was an automated process, set up earlier this year under a trading plan by its boss. Under the system, shares are sold provided they go above a pre-agreed price.

“The sale of these shares is part of Dr. Bourla’s personal financial planning and a pre-established (10b5-1) plan, which allows, under SEC rules, major shareholders and insiders of exchange-listed corporations to trade a predetermined number of shares at a predetermined time,” the company said.

They are the companies shares not private shares owned by the CEO.  Obviously like all such companies they see it as a way of making a lot of money.

He wants the money in hand, he wants to pay a jet plane, huge estate; it is really none of our business unless we have stock in that company!

They know what they are doing. Sell high. Maybe invest in another drug company who is developing the same medicine but its stocks are lower (so there is room for the stock value to rise.)  It is a matter of guessing and timing it right. All about GAINS.
