What to do if i live in a boring location for a landscape photography?

That’s the challenge for you as a photographer.  Look for a different perspective, the beauty in an ordinary place or situation.  It’s a good thing to do as you’ll take more interesting considered pictures.  What can you say about the place in which you live?

If you live in a boring area and you want to do landscapes, then think minimalism. Andreas Gursky took this image the Rhone river.  It sold for $4,300,000 USD.

Of course, you can always do different types of photos such as macro or astrophotography, or architecture, street, still lifes, etc...   You're only limited by your own imagination.

It is what you make it. If you can't apply perspective and lighting to flash up your pictures you aren't thinking like a photographer.

Buy a car, a bike or skates and travel to a nicer location. Those landscape photographers also don't live in the dessert or on a mountain or a tropical island. They go to places. Most places can make interesting pics, anyway. People are not used to them so it's something new and interesting, it's only everyday life for you and few other guys.
