Wouldn't Trump pardoning himself, family members and friends from unspecified federal crimes be an admission of guilt?

GOSH!  I never thought of that.

Why did not Bush and Obama surrender to the World Court? That would have proved their innocence of War Crimes, and Crimes against Humanity!

Being charged with a crime happens to innocent people every day in the US.  So there is nothing wrong with being proactive if you have that power.

No.  It would be legal use of the pardon system.  It would stop unwarranted attacks where there are no crimes.
