Why do people rather want to hate you or feel sorry for you than love you or feel happy for you ?

People are horrible. They seem to like it more when someone suffers rather than when someone is happy. For example when somebody achieves something great in life, has wonderful things happen to them or has expensive clothes, beautiful house, great job, nice family & friends etc. Most people are going to hate that person and be jealous but when that person suddenly dies or becomes sick everybody suddenly starts feeling sorry for that person. I see it all the time. Trash talking a living person, then when that person dies everybody suddenly becomes nice and says how wonderful that person was. One person I know who became terminal ill was hated by most people then when they knew about the illness they became all friendly towards that person and felt pity. Why are humans so horrible and evil? Not all but the majority.

So you're implying that those most people who became friends and had pity for your terminally friend wouldn't be horrible and evil if they hadn't become friends and had pity?

Most people cant see past the tips of their own noses, nor do they want to.

And for many, the only way they know to build themselves up is to put all others down.

Welcome to the world, and humanity.

Because they are jealous, and then empathize, it is pure hypocrisy but this is how people work.

Most people are caught up in modern traditions and it's made them depressed and lazy.
