How to convince mom to let you have a friend over?

My mom is skeptical about having friends over right now because of COVID-19 what do I do???

I have a friend over, but in my yard, and we wear a mask, and keep a distance from each other, we even had a BBQ one time, bu we stayed safe.  Maybe you can get her to let you do something like this.

That wouldn't even be allowed in the county where I live. So I do kinda see your mom's point.

I would listen to your mom. Do you really want to take the chance of you or your mom ending up in a hospital with a breathing tube down your throat into your lungs?
