We don't have it because no one would go out and work if everyone got free healthcare.

We have a hundred thousand Covid patients in our hospitals, right now, today. We'll be lucky if there are any hospitals, doctors or nurses left in this country if we don't all start wearing masks ASAP.

Compare the size of Germany to the US. Germany is the size of Texas. Compare Canada to the US. Canada has 1/10th the population of the US. Not possible  in the US.

The European countries that have universal Health are struggling now. Delays in services, cuts in service. Many of the wealthy in those countries are buying private insurance or going to private practices and Drs.  You should actually do research before making blanket statements.

They don't. Russia, for example, has universal healthcare and it is, by definition, a second-world country, Russia the quintessential exemplar specifically named in the definition of "second-world." In fact, Russia has the right to universal healthcare written in its constitution. So DAMN IT! America gets beat out by the Russians. It's always a crying shame when that happens.
