Why did the league punish New Orleans by making them play without 4 QBs, but if you're Baltimore, you get postponed to your heart's content ?

Double standard much?

Corrrection: It was Denver that was forced to play. Same point. Same question. Any REAL answer?

Because Denver broke the NFL protocol and got caught so they were punished

They didn't. Denver had to play without any of their QBs because they broke the rules and exposed three of the 4 to the virus when 1 bqackup had the virus. Baltimore is in the midst of a large scale breakout of the virus.

Broncos got a raw deal.  Shows where they stand on the league totem pole.

I guess it is different rules for different teams.

It will be much worse for Baltimore because they will play three consecutive games on a short rest.

All three Broncos' QBs will return this week and things will be back to normal (for these days standards anyway). I know that any given Sunday..., but I doubt the Broncos would have beaten the Saints with Lock, Rypien or Bortles.

Double standard this isn't.  Denver's cases weren't numerous.  Yes, the positives happened to be all their ready QBs and they were forced to use Kendall Hinton, but at the end of the day the QBs who tested positive were at fault as is the Broncos organization.  They didn't stick to the coronavirus guidelines and protocols set in place, this was the risk they assume, and this was the price they paid.  The NFL at that point in time didn't feel they were going to spread the virus to the Saints, hence they felt it was safe enough to play as originally scheduled, come what may.  Unfortunate, absolutely.  But the Broncos dug their own grave.

As for the Ravens, they got essentially a mass outbreak that forced just about the entire team to quarantine.  That's a far more severe position than just losing all your QBs; RBs, WRs, even coaches and other staff testing positive...and they had new positives daily!! Of course there was a reasonable assumption that the Steelers could get infected, hence the game was postponed from Thanksgiving night. Entirely different case.

  • The number of positive COVID tests and the contact tracing in Baltimore was completely different than the situation in Denver.  Not hard to understand.

You brainless imbecile.  New Orleans just played Denver which had no quarterbacks on its roster.  Denver lost 34-3.
