No.......just like   "Trading Places"  is NOT a damn  "Christmas" movie,   but they show it *every* year , here in Italy, on Christmas Eve....because it has the one scene of him as a drunken Santa,  trying to commit suicide ....twice. 

Yeah, really festive.

No.  But one of the three big TV networks used to show it on Thanksgiving every year, and everyone got used to watching it after Thanksgiving dinner (everyone who didn't love football).  But it has nothing to do with either holiday.
