Patrick is right, but his pathology is more complex than just NPD. He's also a megalomaniac who craves power & control. Trump has multiple neuroses, one being toxiphobia - fear of being poisoned. That's why he eats fast food so often... not bcuz he enjoys it, but bcuz he believes it's "safe" and is obsessed about people poisoning his food. (You didn't really think a guy raised on caviar & lobster would actually prefer Burger King, did'ja?)

Trump simply has what is called a narcissistic personality.  He thinks the whole world revolves around him.  It was the ultimate insult to him that he lost reelection.  So, in his mind it must have been because of fraud.
