Does one piece get better after Skypia arc ?

Question

I find the sky island arc so boring and a drag to get true. I’ve seen some pictures of how one piece looks after the time skip and it looks so much more interesting

Yes and No. There are good parts here and there but there is also bad parts here and there. Sooo it's about the same as it always has been except Luffy gets Super Saiyan and One Piece starts to become more like Dragonball Z. But in terms of comedy and WTF stuff, it's better than Dragonball.
