Thoughts on the name Cody (or Kody)?

For a boy's name we were considering the name Cody, but I actually kinda like Kody better.  We're leaning towards that.  Don't have middle names chosen yet.

Do you prefer Kody or Cody?

Overall thoughts on the name?

Thanks a lot! :)

Cody seems more expected and I prefer it.

I love the name. It's not over common but easily remembered and very attractive.

    How about:

    Cody Lionel

    Cody William

    Cody Nicholas

    Cody Qliver

    Cody Hector

    Cody Xavier

    Cody Glenn

Cody works. Especially if the last name is "Ack"

I like both spellings. Kody seems to be more unique as the common or more modern spelling is with a C. But anyways, do what you want momma lol, Good luck!

I love the name Cody.  I rarely like it when a K is used for a name that traditionally starts with a C.

I personally don’t like the name Cody (or Kody). It just sounds a little bit plain and dull to me. It’s a very ‘new’ name and I’m not really a fan of ultra modern names. I prefer slightly older names that are more traditional and elegant, such as Oliver, Anthony, Thomas or Carl (for instance).

I like the name and you don’t see it spelled With a K so that would make it a little more personalized.Kody looks goods.
