why was there so much more fear and panicking during the Coronavirus than there was during Ebola and the Swine Flu?

Because Covid came at us during an election year, and it was weaponized by the Dems and MSM as the silver bullet to oust Trump, after the Mueller investigation and the impeachment fizzled out. Yes, Covid can kill people who are at-risk, but we should be looking at the actual mortality rate rather than the number of "positive" test results. There will be "waves" of "positives" for years now, given that none of the silly "safer at home" closures, etc., that were tried earlier this year have "stopped the spread of the virus."
