Will Samsung be upgrading the SSD 2.5" 860 Evo?

If you know something(even rumors), when?

No point in it really. SATA SSD's are always going to be bottlenecked by the interface.  All SATA SSD's made in the last few years bump up against the 600MB/S limit. At this point there's virtually no performance difference between a Samsung 840/850/860/870. The type of memory (TLC/SLC/QLC) might change, but because of the SATA bottleneck, performance is going to be the same. SSD progress is now mainly seen on PCI-E M.2 SSD's. Transfer speeds are much higher with those, though real world performance between the SATA drives and PCI-E drives isn't hugely noticeable outside of benchmarks and the occasional game loading screen.
