Chromebooks are basically a tablet with an attached keyboard.

They use the same ARM CPU as phones and tablets; even if there were enough built-in storage space for serious use (which there isn't), you could not run normal Windows programs or games, as they are written for i86 or now AMD64 architecture CPUs.

All you would be doing is wasting your money.

Most Chromebooks have ARM processors. Basically an Android tablet with a keyboard attached to it. And, you can get a Chromebook with an Intel Core processor but, they cost upwards of $900. For that price you can get a Windows laptop or a Mac with a far better OS and more processing power.

If you want to use Windows, buy a laptop that is designed for Windows. Chromebooks, as the others have mentioned, are designed to run ChromeOS and not compatible with Windows.

The OS is Chrome, the Chromebook, is too small for Windows 10!
