Brexit is a done job and we in the EU are finally well-rid of the English, what an invigorating relief that is.

No more constant English belly aching, now they will have to find someone else to blame, for all their ever lasting balls-up.

Biden will most probably restart the USA-EU trade negotiations and if there are any crumbs left the Brits may get a few but, only if the keep their nose clean with regard to Ireland. If they don't and there are problems in Ireland caused by the Brits breaking the Friday-agreement, then the Yanks will sanction them.

It all comes down to meat : do Brits want to eat US chlorinated chicken and hormone stuffed beef or EU pork festering with MRSA and Hepatitis E.

Anon --Brexit has happened. America has no say in the EU or the UK.

In order to leave an organisation Britain has been part of for decades, Britain now has to make a new trade deal with the EU.   The two sides have yet to agree to all the terms of this and if by the end of December a deal is not agreed then Britain leave without a trade deal.

A deal which is also complicated by the border in Ireland, which is covered in the Good Friday peace deal, which bought an end to the violence in Northern Ireland, which President Clinton was instrumental in bringing about and which the British Prime Minister seems willing to ignore.

So as well as the political impact on this deal which America helped to broker, Biden is like Obama of Irish heritage and feels an affinity to the Irish people.

The UK then has to make trade deals with every other nation as the former ones were made between these countries with the whole EU.

Biden unlike Trump did not support Britain leaving the EU, however it is done and the USA is just one of the countries which now will now be in negotiations with the UK to make a new trade deal.

Frequently between countries these sort of deals take many months if not years.  While the British Prime Minister thought Trump would push through a deal, advantageous to the UK because the British Prime Minister was one of the few European Union countries which supported Trump and almost never criticized him, Biden has no reason to give him preferential treatment.

In 2016 Boris Johnson the British PM claimed that the-then President Obama had removed a bust of Winston Churchill from the Oval Office due to his “part-Kenyan” heritage and “ancestral dislike of the British empire”  It turned out the bust was still on display at the Whitehouse but one of Martin Luther King had been put in the Oval Office.

Then when Obama suggested that leaving the EU "will lose influence on the world stage if it quits the 28-member block" Boris Johnson called the comments a “piece of outrageous and exorbitant hypocrisy” and “hysterical vigilance”

When Obama made British Petroleum pay for the full cost of cleaning up their oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico Boris Johnson accused U.S. President Obama of 'buck passing' and 'beating up' the British-based company.

So the UK should not expect Biden to put the UK trade deal at the top of his list, especially considering all the far more pressing problems he is facing when he takes over in January.

Brexit is done. To hell with Biden. That Yank can mind his own business.

Biden has no say in British affairs, any more than they have any say in American affairs. Where are you getting that idea from?

Brexit cannot be stopped, but we still fear globalist Boris will stitch us up with an unreasonable deal at the last minute. We have Mr Farage waiting in the wings tho, and if he runs a party next election he will get a third of the vote immediately. He’s very trusted by a good portion of the UK public.

Why are Islamic terrorists against Brexit? Polish people now outnumber non-whites in Britain anyway so your dreams of taking Britain away from white people isn't going to happen.
