What would Germany be like if production, incomes, infrastructures, and living standards in Eastern Germany were the same as Western levels?

Pretty much the same. You should go to East Germany, it's more updated than the west. They dumped oodles into it and since there was no infrastructure to speak of, it's all brand spanking new.
East Germany has been mostly rural compared to the west since the black death. But a lot of new jobs in the biosector and tourism have been created.
The bigger question is where would the west be if they left East Germany its own country and renovated the west.
