Some people have made a lot of money by investing in bitcoins, so I would not call all bitcoin investors stupid. It is a high risk investment that potentially can give you a high return.

I have never invested in bitcoin. At my age I consider it too high a risk to be acceptable.

I believe the ultimate success of bitcoin depends upon having many retailers accept as payment for goods and services. I do not believe that is a certainty. I also believe there is a risk of hackers undermining the security of bitcoins.
