What's the best type of stuffed animal for a newborn?

Is a traditional teddy bear the best? I see lot's of people like to buy bunny's. If the baby is going to have it for years, (it's a boy). What do people think is best?

You got no idea what toy or stuffed a animal a child is going to latch onto. 

You can get a toy to match  the decor of the nursery. 

Or stick with a classic. 

Go with what your like, what catches your eye.

I’d pick a laying down stuffed animal. It doesn’t 

matter what kind. They’re comfortable to hold. The baby can lay on them to sleep or hug them laying on their chest. Something like this:
