With states like CT, Florida looks great. In that state they tax people to death. People are begging to get out but cannot sell their property to leave. CT people pay tax on everything, yearly car taxes, sky high RE taxes, & you pay high taxes to take a dump.

Such reasons actually make Florida among (if not) the WORST state(s) to live in.

Those are great reasons to live i Florida. However, there are negatives:
1. My family living down there complain about high tolls for their daily commute eroding their earnings.
2. Traffic is horrible with the rapidly growing population.
3. When you go out to eat, during the winter months, the lines are up to 1 1/2 hours due to the number of tourists.
4. Real estate has become very overpriced as new homes can't be built fast enough for the swarms of people moving in.
5. Wages, although improving, are among the lowest in the country.

Florida is like the septic tank for the east coast. Every piece of sh*t in the NE ends up there.

No. In the short term, among other problems, Florida has a very high number of COVID-19 infections. In the long term, outside of tourism, caring for the elderly, and drug smuggling, there aren't really a lot of jobs. Also, it's really humid. And there are hurricanes. But the most serious problem is that most of the population lives where the land is barely above sea level and will be underwater within a few decades because of rising sea levels.

I wouldn't live in FL if you paid me a million dollars.
