Can a normal citizen that goes to Brazil with a permit or license catch anaconda?

Yes, but only if you carry your W.H.O. issued card certifying you are normal.

Doubt it, way too dangerous and I don't understand why someone would want to catch one anyways.

A NORMAL person would not even try. You MIGHT be able to buy a permit but, if you don't know what you were doing, take out a life insurance policy with me as the beneficiary.

BTW, I am not a normal person, I have a Ph. D. in herpetology, and I would want a heck of a lot of backup before I tackled a project like that. Not only am I not normal, I am not stupid.
