Politics, Teen Vogue is telling its young readers to call their visiting Family Members out on any Perceived Bigotry over Christmas Dinner ?
How on earth did Teen Vogue come up with such a brilliant idea!?

this is terrible advice. brickbats should always be issued in private, not in public. [unless you are in the military]

Teens are being taught to be politically bigoted even against their own families. The schools teach children to find all kinds of ways to twist the most innocent comment into racism. This is nothing new. I would tell the brats to leave the table.

Can't say that I spend much time with Teen Vogue.
But, there's way to counter bigoted remarks without starting a food fight.
"Why don't we all try to remember Christ's message today?" , "That's not a very charitable comment, especially on Christmas Day...." etc.
Unless, of course - Uncle Idiot is drunk , then a teen eye roll is in order.
