Does swing music need to come back?

It was tried in the early 80s and then a somewhat watered down version of it came back in the late 90s. Some songs barely scraped the top 40, if I recall correctly.

Larry Elgart and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are two bands that come to mind. 

I kind of liked the song Hell by Squirrel Nut Zippers. That was a good one from the late 90s.
