Intelligent....Yes. But arrogant and only believe in capitalism when that capitalism supports their ends. Otherwise, they demand a Strong Central Government that implements new laws via fiat.

Yes, they are the chosen ones, and the people that disagree with them are the benighted.  They will praise the people in power that support the green position as they hop on their private jet, and put more carbon emissions in the air than who counties of normal people.
