I’m disappointed nobody will see me for Christmas this year, how do I get over that?

Just invite them and if they don’t show up then that’s on them and have a good time anyways

Are you able to use Zoom or some other link that will allow you to face-time your family?   Otherwise, pick up the phone and give 'em a call.   It's not the same as being together, but it won't be forever.
