2 Speeding Fines + Points ?

Question

So I've just received my second speeding fine just shy of the 2 years new drivers License (United Kingdom)  but have received my points after my 2 year period 

Does the law go from the time of the offence or when you are charged!?  

Basically is my license gone or am I only going to get6 points? 🤔
