how can i buy shares on yahoo finance?

    there owned by google , google took them over nearly 2 years ago . all the stupid users dont know that .

    You cannot purchase shares using Yahoo nor can you buy shares of Yahoo.

    Yahoo Finance is not a brokerage-nor is Yahoo an independent company any longer-it is owned by Verizon.

    You can't, you need to go to a stock brokerage (Schwab, TD Ameritrade, who ever), open an account there, and then buy shares thru them.

    You can't.  Yahoo is just an information (and that's questionable) website.  It is not a brokerage.
