Are k cup coffees pods safe to make in a coffee cup in the microwave ?

  My coffee pot is currently not working. I was told I can make it in the microwave with very hot water and the beans poured into that cup.

I have looked this up on various websites,some say yes and some say no.

Women's health say is is dangerous.

Cnet says no.

I Got mixed answers on Reddit.

I am not going though all the sites. But some say no and some say yes.

Some say it contains a chemical in the plastic that is not safe. I also read that it is no longer a concern.

Does anyone know if it is safe to do?

I did try it and it came out gritty like. Maybe I did not mix it enough.

Just get a new coffee maker and drink tea or pop for now
