The dates on food (other than baby food) are pretty much meaningless. If the can doesn't bulge on the ends, it should be OK. For all about expiration dates read the Times article at:

Honestly, it'll be fine and they'd still be fine this time next year. In a few years from now they'll be tasteless but safe to eat as long as the tin isn't bashed about.

Probably it's fine. Just make sure it doesn't look or smell bad before you eat it. Most canned stuff is good for at least a year after the expiration date.
