Is it a good idea to use a faraday cage when camping to conceal your location to GPS?

You cannot "conceal" anything from GPS, as it is a broadcast system from the satellites that devices use to calculate their position.

GPS receivers do not transmit anything back to the satellites and the satellites do not track anything.

To put it in the most basic terms, GPS satellites are just the present high-tech versions of lighthouses -"beacons" that things can see and use to work out positions.

No because if some deranged person comes out there and kills you, there's not going to be enough GPS data of where you were and your movements before you died. Whereas if they can see "oh looks like he stopped moving at 11pm, right as this other person entered the area" then the investigators might have more information as to what might have happened. Either way I hope you bring weapons and keep your phone close at all times.
