how does submitting an article work? ?

hello i’m in college and recently i’ve been looking into freelance writing for magazines, i was wondering how it works? can you submit 3 articles at the same time or multiple times a week on digital ( their website) even if it’s a monthly magazine? or do they choose the best article and publish one instead. i’m just curious on how it would work if i were to submit multiple articles in a week or less.

Most magazines would prefer a query letter proposing an idea for your article. It saves time for them and for you. You can get more details from the latest edition of Writers' Market. Your library might have it.
