Dogs are all one species, so presume you mean breed and reality is no breed is any more or less affectionate than another, it comes down to temperament of individual dogs and how they are trained/socialised and generally brought up.so that comes down to choosing the right temperament for you and lots and lots of hard work in bringing them up, training/socialising the dog

Only domesticated dogs show a sort of affection and its not down to breed, its down to the dogs temperament and its relationship  with  its owner.

attention demanding (eg: pawing, following) and licking from a dog is often mistaken for affection.
