Is a punch in the nose a good response to someone calling you darling or hun?

Only if you're a true posterior aperture.  I call my (German) wife "Liebling" (darling) all the time.  Punch me in the nose & I guarantee that I'll instantly break your jaw.  It's an automatic reaction.  In law, I have the right to use force to defend myself against assault using force, up to & including deadly force if necessary, provided it's no more force than is required to effect my purpose.  Never start a battle that you can't win.

I don't subscribe to all that feminist nonsense, if a guy calls me darling, hun, or babe, I take it as a compliment.

I usually do not mind but if they say it like ALL THE TIME maybe it is good to although violence should NEVER be the answer..just talk it out. I dislike "hen" MUCH MORE!

It may be a little excessive, but I don't like it when people call me darling or hun either lol.
