Where is the Butterball gravy packet??! I am afraid I am cooking it with the bird. ?

    It is not a gravy packet. Rather it is the neck and the giblets you make gravy with. If you have never done that before, just make a Roux-one part butter to one part flour, and use the drippings of the bird to make the gravy. Stir over low heat till thickened.

    did not find it during carving. if I wanted to call the butter ppl, I would have done it. am glad others gave direct answers to the question.

    Save the trouble.Buy some chicken or turkey gravy powder or cans.

    typically it is in the neck cavity. (smaller opening)

    You should still be able to get it out.
