    1) There are 4 aces out of a deck of 52 cards so the probability is 4/52 or 1/13.

    2) To get the probability of not something, you subtract the probability of that event from 1.  So since the probability of getting the 7♦ is 1/52, then the probability of not getting it is (1 - 1/52) or 51/52.

    3) There are 13 clubs so the probability of a club is 13/52 or 1/4.  There are 13 diamonds so the probability of a diamond is 13/52 or 1/4.  The probability of "A" or "B" when there is no overlap between them is the sum of the probabilities, so (1/4 + 1/4 = 2/4) or 1/2.

    4) There are 12 face cards in a deck so the probability is 12/52 or 3/13.
