Nikon f-3 motor drive cap missing?
Just bought a Nikon F-3 from my local camera shop and just noticed the bottom cap where the motor drive would sit in is missing, is this likely to cause light leaks?

No. the cap mainly keeps dust from the gears that moves other gears that advances the film. The mirror box and shutter curtains are what keeps light from leaking onto the film when one is not taking a picture. There is no direct path for light to go from the motor drive linkage to the film. You can use a vacuum cleaner or a blower to remove dust if you see it.

No, there won't be any light leaks,
but the cap should be replaced to keep dirt out of the camera body.
That is why it was there to start with.

No. There's no possibility that a missing cap anywhere on any body will cause a light leak.
