Corpus Christi, Texas is one such city. São Pedro da Cova, Portugal is another such city, meaning St. Peter in the Grave. Mata Moros, Mexico is sort of along those lines because the name translates as Murder Arabs, so presumably its named after dead Arabs or Arabs who will soon be dead. By the way, I've been to all three of these cities, actually lived in São Pedro da Cova.
