Aren't we going against God by creating these vaccines? If he wanted Covid gone, he would just make it go away, wouldn't he?

Yeah! And if He didn't want us to be hungry, why should we have to eat food? Why didn't He just make us that way?

If God wanted you to be nourished,

you wouldn't have to purchase, prepare,

chew and swallow food.  Would you?

    Don't be so helpless, please.

Well if that's the case, the medical profession has been going against God for years with "flu" vaccines then

If that's the case, every single medical treatment is against God. Eyeglasses are against God. Dentures are against God. Pulling someone from a burning building is against God. Saving someone from drowning is against God.

God gave us all a brain, the ability to learn and discover things for ourselves.

Therefore God gave us the ability to find cures for diseases and hopefully Covid is one of them.

Modern medicine has dealt with smallpox, polio, tuberculosis, and a host of other diseases, which have contributed to longer life spans for people would otherwise have died.

Or he might give us the ability to develop the vaccines, in which case not doing so would be "going against God."

No, it’s not going against God, and God’s not magic, he doesn’t just make things go away.
