I'm getting married, know I should out car in her name,  but should I put my, Harley too? She doesn't ride?

I know marriage is now all shared property, so the equity of the motorcycle is hers. But she can't/wont ride it.

Update:

"..put car in her name.." Sorry, my bad.

Update 2:

No you are both wrong. I know that in a divorce ( God  Forbid !) that she gets 1/2 of the assets. So, 1/2 of Her assets  are mine, too.

Update 3:

Why do I bother on this Site. ?  Anon, you are Implying I'm Lying about my engagement, too, by your tone. And your "conclusion" is not a universal "no". It can be, is it Usually; is What I ask.

You are apparently right that you are getting married.

You are wrong that you need to "put anything" in your wife's name.

I owned a home when I married my husband.  It's still titled in my individual name.

Anything before marriage is yours, not hers at all.
