That remains a very serious problem, which may result in a soul being consigned to the eternal "smoking section".

People who believe their sins are righteous don't go to heaven.  That should be obvious.

he will direct you to God.. the God that created Jesus, you and I. and tell you to keep Gods commandments, and ask for forgiveness to God.. not himself..

what siins do righteous people believe are not righteous. most people that are christians do believe in repentance and righteousness, they just fall short of the glory of God. there  are men who become like saints, and with grace being sufficient for all, all mankind can be saved even if they die, but only if all men call upon the name of Jesus Christ and ask for His atonement to applied to their lives. however liars and those that love to make lies, murderers and sorcerers will have their part in the lake of fire. salvation if made possible for all mankind if they repent of their sins and forsake them. people that do not know better will have a lesser degree of glory in a lower kingdom of the heavens. but if we live in faith and under grace we can be saved Jesus died and suffered that all may not have to suffer if they would repent of their sins and mankind can walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, if they have steadfast faith. aiui

I suppose that would depend. You see, the thief on the cross had numerous amounts of sin in his life that he probably had to deal with still. Areas of his life where he had weaknesses and failed constantly in sin. In most cases, he probably had convinced himself they weren't sins, but on the cross, he saw what the Romans and Jews who persecuted Jesus were doing. In that moment he came to humble his heart and know that he was a sinner and wanted forgiveness. In that moment, Jesus determined him righteous. It's not that he was. Just as you and I are not perfect, but by having faith and trust in what Jesus came to do, we are set free. That is the gift he gave to us. It is not that we are worthy. He is.

Therefore, when someone who believes their sin is righteous goes to heaven, he is allowed in because his sin has been cast from the sight of God in judgment. Now that is different from the person who knows their sin is wrong and who has felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit and then has decided to do it anyway. Those convince themselves their sin is more important than the will of God and in time, they corrupt the character of God in their mind to fit their sin. These will not be spared, as, through their actions, they are rejecting the gift Christ has done for them.

Bible passage please. God allows no sin in heaven. When we repent, he forgives and saves us. But no one thinking sin is acceptable or righteous is allowed into heaven.
