No, I never wanted to do that.  My aspiration was to be a door-to-door "No soliciting" sign salesman.

I went to an over-crowded city school so all I thought about was getting out. Shame I didn't drive then

actually.........YES!!!!!!   I use to think tap dancing was the coolest thing ever. I'd watch those old movies,  and thought it was be so cool to know how to do that.

I mean,  look at this......Gene Kelly,  *tap dancing*  ---on Roller skates!

That is some insane skill level.   And he makes it look so effortless-. !

Or Dick Van Dyke, in Mary Poppins, when he's having the tap dance-off with the Penguins..........

I wanted to have the skill in the worst way.  I thought it was the coolest!

and I read about that scene, and how he had to do all that,  alone, in front of a green sceen,  and pretend the penguins where really  there...... I had the greatest admiration for such insane talent.

Yes. I thought it was better than being a lap dancer.

Never crossed my mind. I wanted to be a gymnast but I wasn't allowed in the class, probably because I suffered acne and the teacher was repulsed.
