Is science of the brain still very young?

We can equate chemical changes with behaviour. But do you ever think we will advance past that?

It is very young but the advanet of 4D flow MRI is pushing things forward rapidly.

Neural science is far more advanced now then it was just a few years ago. We can now make the blind see and the deaf hear using brain implants. We can tell if a dog really likes its owner or if it just likes the food using brain scans. We will continue to make progress.

Not in our lifetimes, no.  When we can say with certainty what a memory is, then we will have gotten somewhere
