Requesting evidence is not turning on somebody telling Trump to put up or shut up about the fraud is not turning it's showing standards.

The reason is that Christie is an intelligent man who recognized that Trump was behaving stupidly.  He also cares more about the good of the country than he does about one individual.  Trump cares only about himself, the country be damned. He's made that obvious repeatedly.

You can't keep that sort of thing "quiet". Christie has become a political pundit. He's asked for his views, and it's his JOB to give them.
